Opportunities:
Volunteering
Guru Nanak Elementary School spirit
extends beyond the students to encompass
all members of our extended family, Teachers, Parents
and students.
As an independent school, Guru
Nanak Elementary School relies on the volunteer support
as well as the financial support of its community to
maintain our position as a leader in education.
Providing our students with an education that is both
challenging and supportive is a responsibility we all
share. We believe that Parent participation in school
community has a key role in instilling the value system
the school envisions.
Action:
There are a variety of methods in which parents and friends can show
their support for Guru Nanak Elementary School. In
fact, if you are a current parent, we expect that you
will take an active part in your child's education -
perhaps by being involved in the classroom, attending
events, or driving our students to and from school trips
and other activities.
Volunteering to help out with
projects when needed, joining committees, sponsoring
activities, or participating in the Parent Advisory
Committee are other great ways to contribute to the
School.
We welcome your enthusiasm!
